The urmm, dressing, it has improved tremendously. Yes, that much. Before it was just tshirt or those thin sleeves with your jeans and your chunky belt with a G and flip flops. Now its a 360degrees turn! Not even a twist. Its good that you've finally found your true sense of dressing, but even so, you need not condemn or comment on how others dress just because you claim yourself to be a "fashionista". Talking about others doesn't make you any better. They probably look even more 'normal' than you do while walking in a mall. Yes yes, not everybody can pull it off like you do. Same old same old comment about yourself. Before praising yourself, you should let others do it first. Then you can start going on about it.
Go get yourself some nice evening bags pls. Oh and yes, you are in need of shoessss. From knee upwards, you can shake that fashionista thang, but knee downwards, its a major NO-NO. So before you start commenting on others, make sure you are either Karl Lagerfeld or Cavalli or Vera Wang or whomever that has clothes on the runway for god knows how long (although some clothes are inappropriate but who am I to judge). Don't simply say things just because you've transformed into a fashion addict!
Gosh, this people should just shoot themselves in the head and die. If you don't want to do it yourself, come to me, I'll help you. Conceited is good, but this, its just too much.
Its 230 pm and I'm only having my breakfast. I'm one angry girl. Toodloo :)

" I cant let you go cause I'm too attached "

Of a new beginning

Hello 2009!

I hope this year would be better than 2008, not that last year was bad, but I want more adventure and excitement for this brand new year!

I finished my diploma and i have 1 and a half years to go. Received my offer letter from the unis I applied to. I got 6 subjects exempted. Quite a relief but I still haven't decided on what to do. I'm in no rush to graduate. And even if I want to finish off early, there would be thin chances anyone might want to hire me as I have no working experience at all. Yeap yeap, AT ALL. There probably be no use of graduating with a double degree by then =P

As for my social-life, I think I've found just the right ingredients for it. Although, some might not be very happy with it, but I guess you'll only be 20 once in your lifetime (unless you have 9 lives like cats do) so there's nothing wrong with enjoying it. Then again, I have my limits and I am proud to say that I am capable of watching my boundaries. Not just watch, but to pull myself to never trip too ("_")

We've grown stronger than ever. 2 months of not communicating (no calls, no messages, no msn/skype) was tough but we made it through. Yes, no form of communication what so ever in case you are still wondering. We survived and I am now stronger, mentally and spiritually. Not to mention, I am much calmer in arguements nowadays. I actually look forward to the things that might come our way in the future. Cheers to us and to all the obstacles we've pull through. I love you and will always do :)

It is true what they say, you can never live up to people's expectation as everyone has their own opinion and say. I've always been the type of girl who never cares what others has to say about me. I don't owe anyone a living so the next time you feel like speculating things about me, first think like I do ;) Although sometimes, just sometimes, its good to know what people think of you and I don't deny that fact that I do care about what "some" has to say about me. No, you're not in that group of "some" people so don't have a big head just so. Those people are my family and my close friends. Friends that really knows me, in and out and accept me for myself. Don't call yourself a friend if you only call me when you have problems with your boyf. Thank you, but I have better friends to care about. I've made new friends while some old ones leave. Its life, people come and go and I cant expect much from it, can I?

The thing I look mostly into for 2009 would be myself. Yes, that is what I want to improve most. I've learned a stack of new things within a short period of time. I want to slowly move towards it and be a better person. Let go even if its the hardest thing to do and don't ever dwell on your past. Let it all be a chapter in your life that will help you move forward. Learn from it instead of living in guilt. Mistakes happen for a reason and one of it is for us to learn from them.

I welcome 2009 with arms wide open :)

JOHANNESBURG

Arrived in the afternoon and headed straight to Aunty Zora's apartment. It was in an area called Fordsburg. Just 5 minutes drive to town, Johannesburg itself. Well, its just a traffic light away. There we were, 2 girls, all on our own. Aunty Zora was Shiela's guardian, she lives in Botswana and the apartment is only busy when they come down to Joburg or else it would be empty. We were lucky we had a place to stay :) Furthermore, its a private gated apartment BUTTT because its close to town, crime rate is higher around there! Yes, the closer you are to town, the higher possibilities of getting robbed or hijacked despite having the electric fences or burglar bars securing your home.

Introducing to you, the South African born Malays, from left to right, Aqeelah, the Mariah Carey die hard fan, Rafeeka, the soft, gentle, most eldest amongst the children and Kashiefa, the South African version of Shiela. Hehehe. They are such wonderful people! I can't imagine myself without them there. Feeka would drive down to Fordsburg and pick us up everyday to either hang out at her house or go to malls. One thing about South Africa, they like squeezing. A VW Golf can fit 6-7 people. Yes, if that's what you're thinking, they do sit on each other. Rafeeka here drives a Cooper and imagine when she comes with the other 2 monkeys to pick us up. Once, there were 6 of us in the car and I was the one who had to sit on another person ("__") Hahaha.

Aunty Wasila

Uncle Muhammad

Kashiefa and Tasneem

This was on Eid. Their celebration of Eid is not much difference as compared to ours. They also have the 'beraya' session with family and visitings from early morning till late night. What amazes me was the youth's way of celebrating Eid. In the morning, they put on kurta/ kurti/ abaya (cloak) to perform the Eid Salaah. The boys will go to the Masjid, while the girls stay home to clean up and prepare food for the big day. They will be in that outfit till about lunch time. After cleaning up, they'll change into their REAL Eid outfit which are casual wear. Yes, they'll put on the nicest, jeans, top, dress, bag, shoe, etc. and go to Zoolake (a big garden with lake). There, everyone will be flashing their cars, their designer's jeans or bags and hang out till late night. Funny innit? You go to a specific place to publicize yourself and your things. Haha. But luckily we didn't have to go or else I'd drown myself in the lake! As for the elders, some choose to stay home and continue having visitors/ they go visiting or they go out to the malls with family. As you can see, the pictures above were taken at Brightwatercommons,a mall with shops out in the open-air and a big outdoor skate park. Thanks to Uncle Muhammad and Aunty Wasila, we managed to visit yet another mall even on Eid day. Hehehe. They have 3 crazy children, Tasneem, Anis and Yassin. All of them are so talented! They can sing, dance and even tell a really good joke !

I want an anniversary date.
Its been years yet we don't have any.
I can't remember when exactly.
But I remember the month though!
So can I have an anniversary month?Hehe.
If that's the case, we shall celebrate for 30 days (day and night!)
